What the price covers, what comes on top, and why the same listing can show different prices.
The price of a food tour in Marrakech depends on three things: how many people share the guide, whether a sit-down dinner is part of it, and what the listing leaves out. A food tour usually replaces your evening meal, which is worth keeping in mind when you compare it with a restaurant.

What you pay for
On the shared walks the price covers a guide and the tastings, usually with water, tea or juice. One Life Trips and the private Urban Adventures tour add a full dinner. Small-group and private tours cost more because fewer guests share the guide, and the private tours are priced for your party alone. Cooking classes include the ingredients and the meal you cook; Click Excursions and the Atlas day add hotel pickup.
What comes on top
Every listing has a “not included” list, and it is worth reading. Tips appear there for several tours and classes, and alcohol is not included where a listing mentions it. Getting to the meeting point is your own job almost everywhere. Reiseführer Abdo arranges transport for a fee, for the food tour and for the class.

The price on this site is always for the option we describe: the Khmisa class with the market, not its cheaper Ramadan evening session; the three-hour workshop at La Maison Arabe, not the one-hour class; the shared walk of Marrakech Guided Experience, not its private option. How much is a food tour in Marrakech?
The shared evening walks are the cheapest, small-group tours cost more, and private tours the most. The ranges at the top of this page show today’s prices per person.
Do I need to tip on a Marrakech food tour?
Tips are not included on several tours and classes, among them Reiseführer Abdo, Flavors of Marrakesh, Urban Adventures and Khmisa Workshops. A tip for a good guide is customary but up to you.
Is dinner included in a food tour?
On One Life Trips and the private Urban Adventures tour, yes. The other walks are tastings, though most guests finish full.
Why is the price different on the booking page?
Some listings sell several options, such as a shorter class, a Ramadan session or a private version. Make sure you choose the option you want; the final amount appears at checkout.
